I work with adults to help them deal with difficult thoughts and emotions, and to get the most from life. My approach is based on working together to explore ideas and feelings, looking beyond symptoms to find their meaning for you. This does not mean our aim is not to alleviate symptoms, but that we will look more widely at the complex reasons why they are occurring. This approach aims to ensure that the benefits and changes that come from counselling become a permanent part of your life.
I work with a wide range of counselling issues, including anxiety, depression, relationships, anger, loneliness, panic attacks, PTSD, bereavement, suicidal thoughts, trauma, spiritual crisis, and dissociation.
I also offer Life Coaching, focussing on relationships, career, life direction, confidence and life satisfaction.
I am qualified with a PGDip. in counselling (equivalent level 7) and am a registered member of BACP.
Pre-work appointments are available in exceptional circumstances.
