About Jacky Pyle (The Relational Counsellor & Supervisor) – Registered MBACP (Accred), UKRCP, BSc
I am a fully qualified, experienced, registered and accredited professional counsellor, psychotherapist and clinical supervisor.
Currently working online (via Zoom) or telephone sessions only, I offer confidential individual counselling, psychotherapy and clinical supervision to other therapists. I also work with GP referrals, Employee Assistance Programmes, BUPA, AVIVA, AXA/PPP and WPA clients.
I work with time-limited, long term and open-ended counselling contracts, helping clients with a wide range of issues through difficult or transitional times in their lives, with long standing problems and with general unhappiness and distress.
I can help with a wide range of issues, including: relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, anger, trauma and PTSD, stress, work related issues, abuse, self-esteem, self-worth, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, chronic illness, caring for others, identity.
Working collaboratively, I endeavour to help clients develop their personal awareness and understanding of difficulties by encouraging and facilitating exploration of thoughts, feelings and behaviours, significant relationships and relevant experiences – with a view to:
- understanding how clients have come to be who and how they are;
- alleviating emotional distress;
- recognising repeating patterns in behaviours and relationships;
- facilitating clients in gaining insight into their impact on others;
- identifying the roots of clients present difficulties;
- supporting and suitably challenging clients whilst they manage their issues and effect changes.
The overall objective is aiming to result in a positive, healing outcome for my clients.
Ultimately, clients may use their enhanced self-awareness to allow them to take appropriate control and responsibility for themselves, to improve the quality and enjoyment of their relationships and to make informed choices and decisions in their current and future life.
