You may be at a stage in your life where you are feeling pain/loss or distress and whatever the reason that has brought you here today, sometimes talking to a counsellor like myself can help. I offer a confidential and professional service with people of all ages.

I have worked in both Primary and Secondary school settings with children, parents, teachers and staff. I currently work in private practice, I also work inconjunction with GamCare a national charity to help Problem Gamblers and affected others. Problem Gambling can bring many problems to a person, many people don’t know why or how to control there Gambling Problems, they can be complex. You may be more likely to reach your goals with support from a counsellor like me. We can explore and work on any problems together in a confidential session and any actions you may wish to take such as self excluding. I also worked for many years as a Carer and believe that this gives me a deep insight into the challenges this role can bring to people.

I offer clients a safe, confidential place and time to explore any feelings they may wish to discuss. I do this in a person-centred-manner- meaning that I am lead by what the client wants and needs.

I have different counselling skills and when working with children I alter my style to suit their needs; I can offer a creative environment which includes toys/play, paint/art. i also make this style of counselling available to adults who express an interest in working creatively.
