Echoes Counselling

I provide confidential counselling for all types of issues working in a respectful non judgemental way with any issues you may have. As well as being a fully qualified and experienced counsellor I have a wealth of life experience to draw upon and provide counselling for people from all walks of life.

As a person I am a warm friendly person who smiles a lot and have a natural ability to connect with people. My clients tell me that I make them feel at ease and that once that dreaded first session got underway it went quickly and was nothing like they had feared.  I hope that puts you at ease if you are reading this and considering counselling for yourself.

Although I provide counselling for all types of issues I also specialise within the areas of Loss and Bereavement, Rape and Sexual Abuse and Military Life issues and I have extensive experience within these specialist areas.

As well as providing confidential sessions in a safe therapeutic environment I am also a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and psychotherapists (MBACP) and follow their ethical framework ensuring I work in my clients best interest at all times.

Two significant events in my own life lead me on my counselling journey one being the sudden death of a close friend and the other being an incident which left my son critically injured. Somehow in my search for answers I found myself working with people who inspired me with their zest for life against all the odds and from this my counselling journey began.
