About Encounter Counselling

Providing integrative, practical, interactive, solution-focused therapy, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and change long-standing behavioural patterns on their own. With great sensitivity and understanding I help my clients to find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues.

I provide therapy for::
• Individual adult and young persons counselling and life coaching
• Cognitive & negative thinking
• Life transitions
• Helping clients to explore and get free from their long-term emotional and
behavioural negative patterns.
• Holistic Therapy: emotional, mental, rational, behavioural, physical & spiritual.

By combining a combination of tailored individual therapy for the client, I help from many different perspectives and increase the chances of success.
I offer a safe refuge where individuals are encouraged to identify and connect with their inner self, those whom they care for and for their environment.
Life can be full of problems, anxieties, dead-end situations or just feels empty sometimes. During our individual counselling sessions, we can help you identify and understand your particular situation. Together we can work on finding the courage to address your situation and initiate positive changes in your life.

Where can individual counselling help? Personal enrichment, self-determination, dealing with many types of abuse. depression and anxiety, loss and trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, self-defeating behaviour, phobias, addictions & anger management.

HOW COUNSELLING CAN HELP YOU
I help people to understand their feelings and needs. Together we develop the steps and daily tools necessary to initiate positive changes in your life. This is how we do it:
• Discuss current problems or goals
• Identify early problems & solving skills
• Examine patterns of relating to others
• Develop goal-oriented strategies
• Assess personal resources
• Learn tools and techniques for changing old patterns of behaviour and
implementing decisions and choices
