Maureen Day Counselling Services

I offer a personal non-judgemental service in a relaxed confidential environment. My aim is to help my clients feel comfortable with counselling. Clients tell me that they feel safe, supported and understood from the moment we meet until they leave. The experience I offer is that of a partnership where we work together to help you discover what you need or what is right with for you. I will never tell a client what they should do but i will help them with their process to find the way ahead for them.

I work with clients who are suffering from emotional distress and I offer the first session for free on all occasions. This gives you the chance to get to know me and decide if you feel we could work together.

I have no waiting lists and will usually be able to give you an appointment within 7 days. I also accommodate shift work and family commitments.

Qualifications

I am a fully qualified Person-Centred counsellor, graduate of Strathclyde University. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and currently working towards a Masters Degree in Counselling, also at Strathclyde. I also hold a certificate in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) this is a quick and effective way of accessing emotions that maybe causing confusion or conflict in our lives.
