121 Counselling

I am a Humanistic counsellor working from a person centred belief that each person is unique and that they will have potential to grow when offered the right conditions.

I started my training in 1998. I am qualified to CPCAB Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I care about people, and have travelled my own long and difficult path, which I know strengthens my practice.

In addition to my own private clients, my clinical practice includes Myton Hospice in Coventry, Warwick and Rugby and the North Warwickshire Counselling Service which is based at George Eliot Hospital. I have also been a Counsellor at West Leicestershire MIND and for the Pet Bereavement Support Service (PBSS).

I am a Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapyand have a current enhanced CRB certificate with Leicester County Council and the National Autistic Society.

To give you an indication of the depth of my skills, my overall experience spans over a twelve year period. During this time I have worked with adult individuals experiencing various levels of mental health disorders including depression, bi-polar, autism, acquired brain injury and personality disorder. I have recently expanded my training to enable me to work in clinical practice with children.
