Life does not always go to plan. I believe that we all poses the power to be the master of our own lifes. As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist I believe it is my role to enable you to learn the techniques to support you through these times and beyond.
I have worked with a range of clients aged from 16 +. Presenting with a number of issues, including
Addiction, abuse, trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, panic, phobia, low self esteem
CBT is a goal focused therapy. I would work with you to identify your goals, the changes you want to make to your life.
As well as traditional therapy carried out in my therapy room, I also offer walking therapy. This is when the session is conducted while walking round the local park. This is not a workout, the pace is set by you. This is a less formal environment and many find that this is a more effective session as thoughts flow more freely.
I believe in working with the person in front of me and adapt my approach to suit them.
