CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle.
It’s a collaborative and goal-directed talking therapy, which means we work together to discover any unhelpful thoughts or behaviours you may hold and set goals for the future.
It’s very structured and I would expect for you will notice the difference in the way you feel about your situation after 10 – 15 sessions. The aim of my approach is to help my clients learn CBT problem solving skills so that you then can become your own therapist.
We will work at the pace you feel comfortable with and everything you tell me is confidential.
I am authentic in my approach and I place great importance on compassion and self acceptance.
Qualifications:
Diploma & Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) / Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT)

I have been trained to a high standard at the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies in London and Bath, accredited by The National Counselling Society.
I regularly receive supervision and I am committed to ongoing professional development. An accredited member of the National Counselling Society.
