Personal counselling is an opportunity to speak in confidence and seek help for something that is troubling you. I believe that within an environment that is non-judgemental,caring,nurturing and safe a person can attain natural positive growth.My clients are either self referred, referred by their employers (either directly or via an employee assistance provider), GPs or psychiatrists.
I work as an integrative/humanistic counsellor and will work with you to tailor which approaches would suit you the most. I also offer Cognitive Behavioural therapy and I draw on my diverse experience having worked as a staff counsellor for the NHS and within my private practice for the past 10 years. I can provide counselling for stress related issues, anxiety,depression, self esteem and self worth,anger management, grief loos and bereavenent, post traumatic stress disorder, male and female abuse, domestic abuse, relationship difficulties, drug,alcohol,sex and internet addictions, mental health, OCD, transgender issues.

I supervise trained and student counsellors privately and within organisations. I describe my supervision as humanistic and integrative but I welcome supervisees with different therapeutic perspectives from my own. I am passionate, committed,energetic and enthusiatic about my work. With openess and honesty being nurtured in supervision it can be a place to learn,develop and grow.
