I offer affordable low-cost psychotherapy in Bruton,Glastonbury and Frome.

Psychotherapy offers a safe, supportive and confidential space to explore ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we relate to our past and present experience.

There are many circumstances in which people seek the support of therapy: you may be dealing with loss or change in your relationships; you may be facing challenges at work; you may be trying to manage the effects of abuse, addiction, bereavement or depression.

You may simply be feeling that something is missing from your life, without understanding why.

Core Process Psychotherapy enquires into human experience at many different levels, working with our thoughts, emotions, body sensations, imagination, dreams and spirituality. This approach, based on western models of psychology and a spiritual (Buddhist) perspective, offers a unique and fascinating way to explore our health and suffering. Core Process Psychotherapy can be described as a mindfulness based approach.

Initially I offer a free 30 minute session which would give you the opportunity to discuss what you are seeking from psychotherapy, and to ask me any questions you may have.

I work on the premise that to be witnessed attentively and with respect can be a powerful experience with profound consequences. Here is a space in which to consider and encourage many aspects of development: psychological, emotional, creative, physical and spiritual.
The spiritual nature of who we are is also acknowledged and worked with. This does not require engaging with any particular belief systems, but encourages direct experience of our true nature.

Confidentiality and respectful relationship are key in supporting, facilitating and accompanying you in your own unique process of enquiry.

I abide by a written code of ethics upheld by the Karuna Institute, which is a member of the UKCP.

Sessions are 1 hour and are the same time and day on a weekly basis.

I offer a sliding-scale for fees and hope to make this type of depth psychotherapy accessible to everyone regardless of income.
