About Cognitive Therapy Support

If you are worried about any psychological issues, then I can help you find the right approach to resolving your issues so that you can have a happier and more fulfilled life.
I use both Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Mindfulness practice as effective tools to deal with how you see yourself and how you relate to those around you.
I have successfully treated clients using Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) after achieving a postgraduate diploma from Manchester University.
CBT works by tracing the cycle of thoughts that create feelings that lead to behaviour. If your thoughts are unhelpful then you have negative feelings and behaviour that hinders your enjoyment of life. You may also suffer symptoms in the body such as hyperventilating, sweating, headaches and stomach problems.
By working together to examine what your thoughts are telling you, you can be empowered using CBT techniques that eliminate or reduce your worries, stress and anxieties. Any behaviour that limits your life, and reduces your happiness can benefit from the proven CBT approach. CBT is one of the preferred treatments for mental health recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) for use in the National Health Service.
I also teach Mindfulness which is a way of paying attention to what is happening in the present moment. Most of the time thoughts, feelings and body sensations are happening, yet we are not always present or aware of them. Being aware in a non-judgmental way to what is happening in the moment encourages clarity of mind, and calm feelings. NICE has also recognised the effectiveness of Mindfulness for people who experience recurring episodes of depression, and it can also be of great benefit for many other conditions.
