Awakenings Counselling Service

I am a registered member of BACP so work within their Ethical Framework. I qualified in 2000 and since then have worked extensively with young people and children in schools and privately with both children and adults.  I am Psychodynamically trained but now work in an integrated way with Person Centred Therapy and am a qualified Play Therapist, working with troubled children.  I work with individuals or couples, have experience with autistic clients , plus gay and gender questioning clients.

I am a qualified Person Centred clinical supervisor for individual counsellors and groups.

I put the client first in any counselling relationship and believe in working with a client at their own pace, providing a safe and trusting environment for them to explore their feelings, resulting in a more fulfilled and happier life.

I have experience of working with:-

Anxiety, Depression, Illness, Relationships, Alcoholism, Executive Stress, Sexual abuse, etc.  I have been working solidly for 18 years and I don’t think there’s anything I haven’t come across yet.
