If you are finding it difficult to cope, time away from the stresses of daily life talking confidentially to someone impartial who won't judge or criticise you may be helpful for you.
It takes courage to ask for help, but it is hard to make changes alone; I can support you while you learn to understand your feelings about present or past events. Exploring your choices and options and identifying ways to overcome or manage your difficulties will help you to feel less overwhelmed and more in control .
Noticing how thinking patterns, attitudes and beliefs about yourself, other people or the world around you may be preventing you from getting what you want from life will help you to gain increased self awareness will allow you to see your choices and options more clearly.
I wonâ€™t tell you what to do, but we will talk things through, discussing and working together to find answers that suit you. You may prefer practical problem solving and learning coping strategies that you can use yourself to help you gain control of your life, or we can simply talk and reflect . I work integratively and holistically incorporating CBT, Psychodynamic thinking, Person Centred principles, mindfulness, relaxation. If appropriate we can also discuss self help, health and lifestyle.
