Room 2 Talk Counselling Service for Women

A counselling service geared towards women and their issues with a focus on problem-management and was founded by Olwyn McEwen.

As an integrative counsellor Olwyn offers a variety of strategies and techniques taken from several different counselling models such as, CBT, T.A., Gestalt and Person-centred theories which are designed to help you resolve or manage your issue in a more positive way as well as an opportunity for you to explore your thinking patterns, which can dictate ones behaviours and reactions to situations and events in life, changing the way you think about something can change the way you feel and this in itself can be empowering.

Olwyn has several years experience working with women as a counsellor for a charity aimed at women who present a variety of issues ranging from general worries and concerns through to domestic violence and abuse.

She has a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling, BSc. (Hon’s) Psychology and is a member of the BACP.
