About Ashdale Counselling
I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist and have been working for 12 years in a number of different settings, including private practice, NHS Primary Care, women’s domestic violence support, and counselling young people and students.
In those years I have helped many men and women from all ages and backgrounds experiencing difficulties with bereavement, relationship and family problems, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. I have also helped clients with behavioural concerns such as substance abuse, phobias, self-harm and deeper concerns resulting from past and present neglect and abuse.
I offer a mixture of person-centred therapy and other therapeutic approaches to help my clients gain a better understanding of themselves, feel more empowered and resourceful, and gain more control over their lives./p>
I believe that all people have the potential to live full and happy lives but from time to time we become held back or overwhelmed by our life experiences. Hopefully, working together in an empathic and non-judgemental way, I can help you overcome these difficulties and find a way forward.
My Manchester rooms are located in the beautiful Grade 2 listed Royal Exchange Building , St Ann's Square , M2 7PE. The rooms are spacious with natural light and ventilation. There is a discreet entrance on Old Bank Street and access is via an intercom-controlled door.
The building is a short walking distance from Salford Central and Victoria Stations and Tram Access is nearby. There is also affordable parking nearby.
I offer daytime, evening and weekend sessions. I am also happy to work on-line using Skype and I offer a free initial consultation
