Judy Williams, Within Mind Psychotherapy

I am an experienced registered Psychoanalytically trained Psychotherapist and an Occupational Therapist based in Manchester, providing a safe and confidential space, working with adults, couples, students, children and adolescents and families.

I also offer consultations to organisations providing health and social care, and I am an experienced clinical supervisor.

I have over 38 years experience of working in the field of mental health within and alongside the NHS. I have extensive experience of working with individuals with complex needs, and I am a recognised specialist in the field of Trauma and Dissociation and I am a member of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation and the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.

I mainly work from a psychodynamic perspective, and I have an adaptive approach to my work as a Psychotherapist and as an Occupational Therapist depending on the needs of the client.

I am currently offering Remote access to consultations and therapy sessions.

Appointments are arranged on an individual basis, telephone and Skype/Zoom/Teams consultations are available and I also provide home consultations within and outside the Manchester area.

I am a registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with the Association of Child Psychotherapists – ACP

I am a registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council – HCPC
