About Counselling and Therapy

Perhaps you are feeling anxious, depressed, facing relationship issues or your self esteem is low and are considering getting help. No matter what is happening in your life or how bad you are feeling, there is a way you can make sense of your pain and find answers to your struggles.
I am a qualified Psychosythesis counsellor providing safe and comfortable space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
I am particularly experienced supporting adults, facing all kinds of challenges and issues related to anxiety, self- esteem, relationships, career, parenting, failure/success concepts, depression, sexuality, meaning, loss and bereavement.

My Approach

Psychosythesis is an integrative and transpersonal psychological approach, particularly focusing on human potential. It takes into account the physical, emotional, spiritual and mental dimensions in which we exist; facilitates access to wisdom and intuition and fosters a healthy self-esteem.

I strongly believe that problems are actually opportunities for growth – stepping stones to a more meaningful, fulfilling and authentic life and relationships.

We are often stuck with the way we act and see ourselves and the world, we become identified with the ideas, and beliefs we grew up with. These concepts are imprinted in our minds and, only when we realise them, can we set ourselves free. In the process of therapy we question and challenge the way we look at things, to arrive at a new perspective. This is how we discover our potential and become who we really are.

‘No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it’. Albert Einstein

With embodied presence and compassionate kindness I will hold, support and guide you on that journey. I encourage you to give yourself a chance and take the first step.

First Steps

After an initial contact by e-mail or phone we will arrange a session as soon as we can. Our first meeting is a time to get to know each other. It is an opportunity to ask questions about my approach or the process of counselling and for us to explore what brings you to therapy at this moment. By the time we end the session we should have an idea whether we want to work together.

Training, qualification and experience
