I offer Individual , Couple and Relationship counselling within a safe, supportive and confidential setting where you can:

– explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences
– learn new ways to deal with conflict, stress and relationships
– work towards greater choice and flexibility
– reconnect with who you are and live a more fulfilling and positive life

I welcome, value and have worked with people from all backgrounds, with innermost regard towards every individual’s identity, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, culture, ethnicity and age.

My Approach to Couples Counselling

The focus counselling is to enable you as couple to manage conflict developing an understanding of the complex dynamic of relationships and enabling healthier and clearer communication.

Often it is difficult to understand what is happening when a relationship is in crisis or has broken down. Counselling helps to locate the disillusionment and difficulties faced by you as a couple within a context that gives meaning to the dilemmas of relationships and holds the potential for change.

I view couples therapy as interactive and involved. I will honestly and sensitively feedback to you what I see, feel and think.

In our sessions we can explore different styles, interventions and techniques. These can be used to change patterns in the relationship and to create a more open and meaningful connection.

Your commitment to the therapy process will provide a good base for taking your relationship to a stronger place.

My Approach To Counselling

My approach to counselling is Integrative. I work drawing from a variety of models of counselling according to individual needs and in a way that I feel is most valuable, therapeutic and effective for achieving positive change and transformation.

For me as a counsellor, it is important to create an atmosphere of understanding and acceptance to facilitate and enhance the therapeutic work. I will not give you advice or judge you or direct you to take a particular course of action. I will not sit in silence either but actively interact and work with you.

Health and positive change often entails creating and maintaining meaningful and fulfilling relationships with self and others.
We all have the capacity and desire for self-realization, healing, intelligence and creativity and change happens at an individual pace and course. I consider my work to be that of helping people to fulfil their potential and to connect with their inner essence and freedom.

I see clients on a medium or longer-term basis and also work on short-term solution focused therapy, as useful and appropriate.

I have a specific interest in working with people experiencing:
Relationships challenges, Anxiety , Confidence and Self-Esteem problems, ongoing Stress, Life Transitions, Career Change, Grief, Bereavement and Loss, Cultural Issues and Depression and with people from the LGBT Community and Londoners who have Cross-Culturally relocated.

I practice from a number of different locations in Central and South West London, on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period.
