About Ray of Hope Counselling Services

About me
The counselling service I have established is called, "Ray of Hope therapy". I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also have an Advanced diploma in Integrative counselling. I offer clients therapy using the humanistic approach. I have a great deal of experience in counselling and group work. I have worked within various professional organisations, including the NHS and The Priory Hospital, working with addiction and many other issues such as trauma, loss anxiety and depression.

I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment offering my clients unconditional, positive regard and empathy as they grow and develop. This can lead to greater insight, healing and progress.

I work from my private practice in Ardleigh Green, Essex and Brentwood although currently working online through Zoom.

Sometimes the world we live in gets tough. There can be so many mix messages which we start to believe about ourselves, this can sometimes develop into a negative core belief such as. " I'm not good enough or I don't fit in", and many more, as a result of this clients can often feel depressed, it starts to affect self-esteem. Counselling can help clients to challenge these negative core beliefs and help break the patterns this will result in a more positive self-concept and self-esteem.

Our early experiences, both negative and positive, impact on our present way of thinking, behaving and relating to others, therefore it is important to help the client to make those links between past and present behaviour, to increase their self-awareness and bring about change.

As well as one to one's I run group therapy sessions with mindfulness guided meditation. Presently I am working from home doing this group on a Sunday through zoom.

Clients also have the option to receive Auricular acupuncture on a one to one or in group sessions, this is an optional treatment and also a very good holistic remedy for relieving stress; anxiety; fatigue; pain and for detoxing.

I believe in the core conditions, i.e., putting clients at the centre of their own recovery and empowering them to change their lives for the better.
To book a session, just email me or text and i will get back to you within 24 hours.
