I offer a confidential safe place to talk about the issues that are of concern to you. I work with a wide range of psychological and emotional issues including stress, anger, anxiety, relationship difficulties and self esteem.

I am a member of the National Counselling Society (NCS) and the UK Association of Transactional Analysis (UKATA), and I practice in accordance with their codes of ethics.

I undergo regular supervision and have the relevant insurance cover which enables me to practice.

I have completed a 4 year Diploma course in Transactional Analysis.

I was a volunteer counsellor at the Shinewater Shaftesbury Centre in Eastbourne from February 2016 until closure in June 2019. I was also a volunteer counsellor at Horizon Community Learning in St Leonards on Sea for 18 months until closure in May 2018. I have worked with a diverse range of clients with a wide range of issues.

Before training I worked in the Insurance industry and the Legal profession and I had experience of forming relationships with people who have suffered catastrophic injuries, chronic pain and situational anxiety.

I work with a wide range of issues, anger, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, workplace issues and many others which may be impacting on your quality of life and emotional well being.

My Approach

My training is in Transactional Analysis with additional training in Person Centred Counselling Skills. Transactional Analysis has at its heart, the belief that people are OK, that everyone has the capacity to think and that people can decide their own destiny. It also supports the belief that change is possible.

My style of working is empathic, gentle but focussed, allowing you the space and permission to talk, in confidence, without judgement.
