About Movement Psychotherapy

I am an experienced Movement Psychotherapist with a background in dance performance and teaching. Having previously worked extensively with children, young people and adults with a wide range of needs in a variety of settings, I am currently focussing on individual clients in a private practice in Hove, East Sussex.

As well as my therapeutic training, my twenty plus years of experience within the field of professional dance and movement has enabled me to develop skills that I can use to support clients’ movement explorations and therapeutic process in empathic and creative ways.

My therapy work is also informed by a long established Buddhist practice.

Organisations I have worked for include Norfolk and Norwich Mind and Childhood First. I have offered individual and group therapy in SEN schools, day centres for adults with mental health problems and in residential therapeutic communities.
