Welcome to Crewe and Nantwich Counselling Service

If you are feeling troubled with life I believe I can help you. My name is Adrian, I am a qualified and very experienced counsellor and counselling supervisor. I work with individuals and couples. I offer a safe place for you to explore whatever is causing you concern in a supportive and caring environment with confidentiallity assured. Relationships, Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Addictions, Marriage Counselling, Couples Counselling, Low Self Esteem, Abuse, Bereavement and Grief are just a few of the issues I work with. I am committed to trying to understand how it is for you and will help you to find answers and the changes you seek. Part of my practice is dedicated to counselling couples who are experiencing difficulties or who are on the verge of separation and who want to try and save their relationship. Marriage counselling, Relationship Counselling. My fees are sensible. I am passionate about empowering people, not money.

I am not here to judge but to help people that may be feeling lost, whatever their reason. If you decide to come and see me you can be assured that I will always do my utmost to help you and I will always be respectful of you. The counselling will take place in both a very safe environment and within a very safe relationship between us.

Although I remain very sensitive to my clients I am certainly not a ‘wishy washy’ counsellor, but instead will help you explore your problems at depth. This may be challenging work for you but the rewards can be vast.

Unlike most counsellors who offer fifty minute sessions mine are 1 hour for individuals and 1.5 hours for couples. Believe me this space is always filled and when working with couples is my belief that this extra time is essential.

You are welcome to email me at anytime and to telephone me between 8.00am – 9.30pm anyday of the week. I can not promise to always be available to answer though I will always return your call as soon as possible. My counselling room is a 10minute walk from the town centre and 15 mins from the railway station.

About Me

I am Person-Centred and use this base as the core of my therapy. It is my belief that given the right conditions every individual has the capacity to change. I genuinely strive to offer these conditions to all of my clients and as a result my clients genuinely feel the benefit. Taking time and space to explore yourself and your concerns will empower, build confidence, and create a far greater ability to make decisions and changes. My work with you will be a “no nonsense” approach. What I offer you above all is genuiness. I will not baffle you with psychotherapy terms and patter, but instead seek to create a straightforward but deep meaningful therapeutic relationship with you.

All of my qualifacations are university gained and nationally recognised and NOT online diplomas, or psychology degrees with little to do with true counselling.

I have taught counselling at South Cheshire College in Crewe, Cheshire.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a qualified counsellor to Graduate Diploma Level (Manchester Metropolitan University) and a qualified counselling supervisor (where I supervise other counsellers practice) at post graduate certificate level (Chester University).

I have worked as a counsellor within the NHS in a large city hospital.

I have in-depth bereavement training, including sudden and traumatic death, and counselling people bereaved by suicide. Some of my clients themselves have suicidal thoughts that need exploring. I also seek and recieve regular ongoing training and supervision to offer the best possible service to my clients.

I have unmarked enhanced criminal records bureau check. (February 2022) I have a wealth of experience of working with children and adults of all ages. I have worked as a counsellor in many primary schools and secondary schools including a special school with autistic students. Approximately twenty five percent of my clients have been children and young people. My work is split fairly equally between working with males and females.

My counselling work has been very varied working in bereavement and life changing illness at one agency aswell as physical, emotional and sexual abuse. I also work heavily with low self esteem and peoples anger.

I also work with alcoholism and variious addictions.

I have worked with the bereaved relatives from the high profile Independant Case Review, concerning deaths at Stafford Hospital.

In my private practice in Crewe individuals and couples come to see me for a whole host of reasons. I offer both short and long term counselling depending on my clients needs. I also have experience and work with clients who have learning dissabilities for example Autism.

I offer counselling at my practice and a telephone counselling serv
