I am a qualified BACP registered counsellor offering friendly professional support to help you through difficult times. I have experience of working with people from all walks of life and age groups. I have experience of helping people with anxiety,depression,relationship difficulties,stress having a special interest in supporting people with Bereavement, loss & terminal illness .

I am kind, caring and friendly with the goal of offering you a space where you can explore your feelings in safety and confidence without the fear of judgement. Whether it is to ‘get things off your chest’ or simply talk about what is troubling you, it could be a past event or something that happened yesterday.

I am an integrative practitioner which means I draw on a number of theoretical models to meet your individual needs. My core way of working is Person-Centred, so first and foremost I will talk to you about what you would like to gain from counselling and support you to achieve your personal goals. I also offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to address specific problems which may benefit from a more structured approach. Other approaches include solution focussed brief therapy,transactional analysis and I am comfortable working through the medium of art and crafts. This can be particularly therapeutic for younger people and for those who find it easier to express themselves through the medium of art

I have extensive work experience of working with children and young people as a secondary school counsellor supporting young people in particular to overcome the ever growing pressures of school life; exam nerves, stress, anxiety and panic .

My private practice is based in a quiet location in Stonely,St Neots. I am able to offer daytime, evening and Saturday appointments and times are staggered to ensure full discretion. There is free off road parking. Fees are £40 per 50 minute counselling session.
