We all experience times in our life when we feel stuck, overwhelmed, or lacking in direction or purpose ... and it's at times like these when we might seek support in facing these challenges and making positive change. I thoroughly enjoy supporting individuals and groups through challenging periods. I have been in a supportive role for over 20 years, my passion is for people.

As an integrative psychotherapist I work with a blend of evidence-based modalities; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory and Person-Centred Therapy. However, I also utilise techniques from other schools of counselling such as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Gestalt Therapy and Schema Therapy.

I have been fortunate through my work in both statutory and the voluntary sector such as addictions, criminal justice, social work and education. Gaining a wealth of experience working with a wide variety of mental health struggles allowing me to adapt in a way that will benefit you. I am specialised in working with children, young people and families, helping to overcome challenges associated with school, working with their social emotional behavioural needs and mental health difficulties as well as the impact of trauma.

Our work together is based upon trust, empathy, understanding and a willingness to accept without reservation. I can provide you with the space for you to completely let go and explore your problems, issues, emotions and processes at your own pace. I welcome any interest in the service that I offer, and happily encourage you to reach out with any questions. An introductory session will be offered free of charge so that we can get to know one another and ensure that I am the right counsellor for you. I aim to be as flexible as possible with booking, offering evening and weekend appointments.
