As a Counselling Psychologist I have experience of working with many different psychological and emotional problems and trauma of varying degrees and severity. In addition I am a sexual and relationship therapist with an abiding interest in working with individuals and couples with sexual and relationship issues. Over the last 30 years I have worked in GP primary care, the voluntary sector, teaching hospitals and the private sector. I have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of clients and mental health issues ranging from anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, fears, phobias as well as everyday life and work related issues.
I also have a special interest in helping clients with health related problems such as illness, pain, disability and emotional wellbeing following accidents or trauma. As a disabled person myself since childhood I have both the professional and personal experience to understand and supporting clients in this specialist area.
