Rachael Beecham Counselling & Psychotherapy
Counsellor in Kendal, Westmorland and Furness
Hi, I’m Rachael,
I offer a warm, supportive, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself and talk openly about your feelings, thoughts and experiences. Together we can explore whatever may be going on for you and help you find a way forward. We work at your pace, building a trusting relationship based on empathy, respect, and understanding.
I support adults, young people, and children facing difficulties such as:
– anxiety
– depression
– low mood
– stress
– bereavement
– loneliness
– relationship/friendship issues
– loss
– feeling overwhelmed
– bullying
Counselling can help you to:
– Feel heard, understood, and supported in a safe & confidential space
– Develop practical ways to cope with stress, anxiety, feeling low or overwhelmed
– Build a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself
– Feel clearer about who you are and what you need and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck
– Feel more confident expressing yourself and making choices
– Discover your own strengths and inner resources
Alongside my private practice with adults and children, I am a counsellor at a local college. Supporting young people at such an important stage in their lives is especially meaningful to me. When working with young people & children, I offer a flexible and creative approach to help them express themselves in ways that feel comfortable.
I offer face-to-face counselling in a quiet space in the centre of Kendal, Cumbria and online or telephone sessions across the UK and worldwide.
I also offer Walk and Talk Therapy (also known as Eco-Therapy, Nature Therapy or Outdoor Therapy) in the Kendal area.
If you’re thinking about reaching out for counselling, I’d love to hear from you.
