Pat Mooney
Counsellor in Banstead, Surrey
I am an integrated relational counsellor specifically trained to listen and use my skills, to offer support in helping you find a way forward, without judgment or criticism.
Counselling can help by giving you the time to talk about what is troubling you and support you to come to a clearer understanding of yourself and the difficulties you are experiencing.
It can reduce feelings of distress and anxiety, increase self-awareness and insight, and help you develop skills around managing stress. Counselling may also include challenges such as experiencing and discussing uncomfortable feelings, e.g. sadness, guilt, anxiety, anger, yet I believe that counselling and having time to talk about you and your problems can lead to real positive change.
I have experience in working with clients who have had anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, relational difficulties, work related stress and issues around loss and bereavement.
Alongside seeing clients privately and in a GP surgery and abide by the ethical framework of the BACP. I provide a safe confidential space to talk, and offer weekly short term or long term support according to your individual needs.
