Marina Sabolova is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, and young people in navigating life’s emotional challenges. Originally from Slovakia and now based in England for nearly two decades, Marina brings a rich cultural perspective alongside a deep understanding of human behaviour, resilience, and connection.
As the founder and Clinical Director of OK Talk, Marina is passionate about making mental well-being accessible, engaging, and meaningful. She works with clients of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults, offering a compassionate, non-judgmental space where people feel heard, understood, and supported. Her approach combines professional expertise with genuine warmth, helping clients develop self-awareness, build emotional resilience, and find practical ways to move forward.
Marina has extensive experience working in schools, with families, and across a range of professional sectors including the NHS, police, and leadership teams. In addition to one-to-one counselling, she designs and delivers bespoke well-being programmes and interactive workshops for organisations, focusing on communication, relationships, and emotional health in the workplace.
Deeply rooted in her community, Marina also hosts a weekly Chatty Café, creating a welcoming space for connection and conversation. Her work is driven by a belief that strong relationships and open dialogue are at the heart of well-being, and she is committed to helping individuals and communities thrive.
