I offer person-centred counselling. In each session, you decide what you would like to talk about, and one individual session may be quite different from another. A session may be calm, quiet, a rollercoaster, challenging or reinforcing. Clients are often surprised at how quickly the time goes.
Previous clients have said they felt accepted, understood and supported in the work we did together. I aim to be caring, reliable and interested without being judgmental. I am LGBT friendly and comfortable working with people who are not yet fluent in English.
I have experience of working with people on a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, relationship difficulties and problems at work. I work confidentially, so whatever you tell me stays private.
There isn’t a typical number of sessions, but we review how it’s going regularly and I would never pressure you to continue.
My fees are:
£40 individual
£50 couple
£20 low income and student
