Karen Young Counselling

Hi, I’m Karen. I offer counselling and psychotherapy and am located in Knotty Green, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. I work mainly with individual adults and can help with issues of depression, anxiety, relationship problems, bereavement, low self-esteem, and trauma.
If you are struggling with difficulties in life today, or if you feel there is something from your past that is tough to move on from, then you’re welcome to contact me. I’d be happy to meet with you for an initial appointment; this gives you an opportunity to ‘try us out’ and I don’t charge for this if you decide not to proceed further.
In addition to my original counselling training, I’m also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. This is a mind/body therapy appropriate for use in early-life relationship issues, and in issues of past or present trauma or traumatic experiences.
I’m a Senior accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy with over fifteen years’ experience, and I am bound by BACP’s code of conduct.
