I have just finished 12 weeks of therapy with Liz, and I genuinely do not think I would be in the position I am now without her support. As an autistic person, I have often found mental health support difficult because I can explain things clearly on the outside while still feeling significant distress inside. When I first started, I could talk about my experiences, but I could not really take anything in. It felt like I could speak, but not properly receive support. Liz understood that difference. She did not mistake my ability to explain things for being okay, and she helped me slow down enough to notice what was really going on for me.

Over the sessions, I have moved from fear, approval-seeking, overthinking, and constant self-pressure into something much steadier. She gave me space, challenged me when I needed it, and helped me change thought patterns that had been running for years. I now feel calmer, steadier, and more connected to myself moving forward.
