I am a Gestalt relational counsellor that provides a friendly and professional counselling service who is experienced in working with a range of presenting issues including, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and relationship difficulties. One area that I specialise in is autism and other neurodivergent profiles. My sessions are neuro-affirmative and LGBTQ+ friendly. Being autistic and neurodivergent myself means that I can relate to, and have experienced first-hand, some of the opportunities and challenges resulting from being autistic and neurodivergent.
I offer short term and long term, online or telephone counselling sessions to adults of all ages within the UK. I also offer sessions face to face at my private practice, in Fareham, Hampshire. Sessions are available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
It is important that we can establish a connection so you feel able to work with me to explore your concerns and therefore I spend time with you initially to develop our working relationship. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to help you decide if I am the ‘right’ counsellor for you.
Through listening to you I aim to personalise your counselling sessions to meet your individual needs. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to share and explore your concerns, using psychological education and helping you to normalise, understand and manage your experiences. The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework is followed.
