Through counselling I am able to help you recover from depression, fear, and anxiety through motivation & perspective find joy that you once had in your life. Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful & traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear & hopelessness are some emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms. The loss of a loved one is a devastating event & the pain of loss unbearable. Feelings of guilt, anger & grief can become apparent & each individual responds differently. I am here to help you through your concerns of the future.
I qualified through Plymouth University as an Integrative Counsellor using techniques from the Person Centred, Gestalt & Transactional Analysis approaches within a recognised framework.
I work within my local Hospice voluntarily supporting family members through their bereavement process and patients towards their end-of-life. I also give time to a local Counselling Agency who gain referrals from GP’s within the North Somerset area.
I will work with individuals from all walks of life & like to think of myself as a caring, nurturing Counsellor helping others find their inner self & be their own autonomous person. Using a creative side I love to work using different mediums & tools within sessions & have gained extra insight & knowledge through attending Creative workshops. I can also offer the “REWIND” technique for those wishing a fast cure for phobias, traumas and PTSD.
I am also a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and offer this as part of my integrative counselling therapy sessions if appropriate to the client.
I cover the areas of North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire but region is not a challenge now that we are working online. Walk & Talk sessions are now offered in the BS20 area together with face-to-face sessions within the beautiful setting at Penny Brohn UK, Chapel Pill Lane, Pill, BS20 0HH

I have had councilling with Jane ,she is very professional in her field , Jane made feel very relaxed & comfortable on our very fist session,, Jane is very good at putting you at ease ,listens to you ,talks at your level and pace .very good at explaining your feelings ,your emotions,your gilt ,,sadness,pain .anger, all things that we all feel at times in our life’s .i truly came away from my session with Jane a more positive person on how to deal wth things , I would really recommend Jane if you need any kind of counseling .
