Free Spirit Counselling

My name is Ellen Wheller, I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling with Adults and a Post Graduate Certificate to Work Therapeutically with Children and I am an affiliated member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am an Accredited Counselling Supervisor and hold a Professional Postgraduate Certificate in supervision.
Other professional qualifications held are a BA (Hons) in Education, and course modules, which allowed recognition and membership in the British Psychology Society. These skills led to working in the field of Children with Disabilities and undertaking research with children with ADHD.
I also have a Diploma and a MA in Social Work and previously worked as a Consultant Social Worker providing intervention services for children and families. My last post was working in the area of Substance Misuse with Families and therapeutic work included working with the whole family (systemically) using Motivational Interviewing techniques and Brief Solution focused interventions.
