Holding it all together on the outside but struggling underneath?
Maybe you feel lost, unsure of who you are, or like you don’t quite fit into the boxes others expect you to. You might be hard on yourself, struggling with confidence and self-acceptance.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to work it out by yourself. Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step. You might not know what to say, or even why you feel the way you do. That’s okay.
How I can help:
I’m a BACP-registered person-centred counsellor.
I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can talk openly, without fear of judgment. A space where you don’t have to filter yourself, hold it all together, or have the “right words.”
We’ll go at your pace, starting wherever you are.
Together, we can begin to make sense of what’s going on for you—exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Over time, this can help you:
– feel more like yourself
– understand yourself better; why you think and feel the way you do
– build confidence and self-acceptance
– feel clearer about what you want and need
This is your space: somewhere you can be heard, understood, and supported without pressure.
How I work:
As a person-centred counsellor I won’t tell you what to do or try to “fix” you. Instead, I’ll work alongside you: offering empathy, understanding, and acceptance so you can explore things in your own way. I believe that when we feel truly heard, things can begin to shift.
Our sessions will be led by you. We might explore patterns in your life, how you see yourself, or how you experience relationships.
I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work, including supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients.
Next steps:
I offer daytime and evening appointments, both in person and online. Sessions are £50.
It’s completely okay if you’re unsure about counselling or don’t know where to start.
If you’d like to ask a question or see if we might be a good fit, you’re very welcome to get in touch. I also offer a free 20-minute introductory call, so you can get a feel for whether working together feels right.
