About Relational Wellbeing

People consider seeing a therapist for a variety of reasons – perhaps you’ve reached a point in your life where you struggle to find meaning in your relationships or make sense of the world around you; perhaps work life is dominating your home life or vice versa, or perhaps life concerns, anxieties or grief are becoming too much to cope with, making daily life dysfunctional?

If you feel the need to share your experiences with more than just a friend or work colleague, then seeking a confidential and supportive therapeutic relationship may be the best way forward.

I’m Martin, and I am a degree-qualified counsellor (Integrative Relational Therapy) and Registered Member of the BACP. I have worked with a wide range of people from teenagers to older adults from various social, racial and economic backgrounds and draw from a variety of theoretical approaches to support my work, enabling me to support you in exploring your past, present or future concerns, whilst together unpicking some of the difficulties or issues you might be facing.

I work from home in a safe and secure environment, occasionally joined by my dog, Harry the Beagle. The presence of dogs in a therapeutic environment can have a calming or reassuring influence for some people, especially those who experience dogs as a beacon of safety and security.

If you’re looking for a calm and relaxed therapeutic space to explore your difficulties or struggles in life with an empathic, non-judgemental counsellor and would like to self-refer for an initial assessment session, we can discuss your individual needs about what you would like to gain from either short term or long term therapy.
