Patricia Stead Counselling
As a counsellor I strive to provide a non-judgemental, understanding and honest relationship in a safe environment. I have being in private practice for five years and counselled young people, adults of all ages and couples. I tailor the sessions to suit the client as counselling very subjective and each individual responds to different types of counselling. As a counsellor I have counselled in a primary school and also at a community college counselling students with a diverse range of issues. In addition to my private practice I was a volunteer for six years with Cruse Bereavement Care.
I have worked with children, young people and adults of all ages and backgrounds within the Health Authority, Local Authority and the voluntary sector. As a tutor for adults with learning and other disabilities I facilitated groups on emotions, coping with stress and anger, self esteem and confidence building as well as relationships and bereavement.
As a counsellor I offer an opportunity to feel comfortable to talk through difficult issues and explore and understand how you are feeling at your own pace. I offer daytime, evening and limited weekend appointments in comfortable private rooms. Home visits are also available as well Skype and telephone sessions.
I work extensively with clients covering a wide range of issues such as:
Anxiety
Low self esteem and confidence
Depression
Stress
Relationship issues
