CBT can be useful for and in many cases is the recommended treatment by the NICE guidelines for dealing with issues such as: Anxiety; Phobias; OCD; Social Anxiety; Assertiveness; Low self-esteem; Depression; Interpersonal problems; Worrying; Eating Disorders; Disordered Eating; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Complex Trauma and the management of chronic physical problems; IBS; Pain; Chronic fatigue; Anger management. EMDR is the recommended treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Complex Trauma.
Our therapist has been seeing clients within NHS commissioned services since 2009. She is accredited with the BABCP and her practice is regularly supervised.
