About Counselling and Psychotherapy – Jennifer Weir

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor working in Beeston, Nottingham, specialising in working with adults and young people who are experiencing difficulties in their life. I can offer you space and time to explore your issues in a safe, secure and confidential environment. My approach to counselling is humanistic and integrative and I will listen to you without judgment. I believe that the experience of therapy can help you to understand your situation and can lead to positive change.
Counselling may be long or short term depending on your wishes – indeed the whole experience will be determined by your individual needs.

Training, qualifications and experience.
B.Sc in Counselling and Psychotherapy training at Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (in partnership with Coventry University).
Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I work within the BACP’s Ethical Framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy. Further details of this can be found on their website.
I have extensive experience of working with adults and young people. I also work for two voluntary organisations as well as private practice. Continuing professional development is an important aspect of my desire to provide as professional and effective service as possible.

Fees

I can offer you day time or early evening appointments.

My fees are:
Initial 25 minute discussion £20
Initial full session (50 Minutes) £38
50 minute counselling session £38

I also offer discounted rates for students in Counsellor training.

If you just feel you want to meet up with me to find out more about counselling, a 25 minute discussion would meet your needs. If you feel you need a more in-depth exploration then a full session would be more helpful.
Please email me if you have any queries about this.
