Counselling and psychotherapy can provide a safe, confidential, supportive space for you to bring any problems you are having and explore difficult thoughts and feelings. You might be seeking counselling because you are struggling to cope, feeling dissatisfied with your life, having problems with relationships, trying to process a loss or a change, or finding it difficult to make a big decision. Or you may want to make sense of things that have happened in the past, think about your future or just get some extra support to help you through a tough time.

Using a combination of personal life experience, training and a wide range of client work, I will help you to explore any issues with empathy and understanding. You can speak with me from a place of your choice where you feel comfortable, I want you to feel able to talk about anything you need to.

I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is the most important factor in enabling change, so our first session would be low cost and without​ obligation. This is so that you can decide whether I am the right counsellor for you.

You might be suffering from a specific problem such as anxiety, depression or stress. Or a bereavement, past trauma or bullying at work. Perhaps you experience general feelings of worthlessness or low self-esteem. Is it just that you have an underlying sense discomfort or of ‘impending doom’ that never seems to go away?

I have both professional and personal experience of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction along with all of the issues that go with them helps me to genuinely understand. Whatever it is that is troubling you or making you uncomfortable I can help.
