i am a fully qualified, very experienced counsellor offering time and a safe, confidential space where you can begin to explore any issues which may be concerning you.
Counselling is about helping you make sense of your thoughts and feelings, so that you can then make decisions about what, if any changes you wish to make in your life. I believe that each person is the expert on themselves and I am there to support and help people to find their own way forward at their own pace.

You may understand where your problems lie, or it may not be so clear, but you do know that you feel unable to cope as usual with everyday life. I am aware that, at first, you might feel anxious or vulnerable about sharing personal aspects of your life with me. My commitment is to offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space, where you can feel free to explore your experience of life and express your thoughts and feelings about the difficulties you are facing

Counselling is not a magic cure, but at times it can be difficult to talk to family and friends about how we are feeling, sometimes it can help to talk to someone neutral who is trained to listen with warmth and kindness and accept us for who we are. It is not about finding solutions, but more like untangling a knot: if you find the right ends and tug at them gently, things can start to feel better.
I work from pleasant premises in Solihull, Knowle, Kings Heath and Kings Norton, offering daytime, evening and weekend appointments. All premises have access to car parking and I do try to accommodate clients with disabilities.

Fees: £30 per hour

Special arrangements can be made for students and those on a low income
