I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and a BACP registered counsellor with over 10,000 clinical hours of experience in helping people with emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression and relationship problems. My training, over 6 years, equips me to work at depth with clients, working effectively with emotional difficulties, some of which have been there for a very long time. In removing obstacles and blocks, psychotherapy aims to help people live their lives in a fulfilled way. Sometimes there are things that left unexplored or unresolved hold us back from engaging with life in the way we really want to.

I am a visiting psychotherapy lecturer at Newman University and Birmingham City University and am an independent trainer and clinical supervisor. I work with adult individuals, children, couples and families. I was a clinical director of a counselling charity for 6 years.
I have extensive experience of working with children who are struggling emotionally and behaviourally at home or at school and also work with couples who are finding it hard to get on, affected by an affair or are having difficulties around intimacy.
