I offer counselling, using an integrative method, from age 16 years plus, individualising the counselling to suit each unique person. During this process it helps the client to gain self confidence helping to make different decisions in life, leaving behind unhelpful patterns of behaviour, increasing low self esteem.
I work with couples and individuals, for short or long term timeframes, EAP referrals.
If you are looking for a counsellor call me for an appointment. Together we can explore and move towards gaining confidence and understanding of your needs
I also offer supervision for counsellors:
I have a certificate in clinical supervision, approved by the British Psychological Society.
My experience in supervision has been over the last few years within an agency, offering 1:1 and facilitating peer superivision. I am now offering private individual supervision.
The supervision style I use is Facilitative, Confrontative and Exploratative. I ask open questions and offer reflection.
I aim to help you, the therapist, gain understanding of the client and understanding of yourself In the room with the client. What is helpful and what is not, enabling the client to understand themselves better.
