Hello, my name is George and I offer face to face, telephone and Skype counselling in Weston-Super-Mare and North Somerset.

Although I have experience with a wide range of issues, I have a particular interest in the following:

My counselling Approach

I offer a humanistic counselling approach, where you are given the time and space to talk about whatever is currently on your mind for us to explore; this allows us to form a strong therapeutic relationship which will encourage deeper self-awareness and growth.

I also integrate other therapeutic approaches into my work when a different approach may feel better suited to your needs. Every client I’ve worked with has brought something unique to them, which is why I approach counselling in this way.

Professional Registration

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means that I follow their ethical code of practice to ensure my credibility as a professional.

I am insured to counsel at people’s homes should you have physical or mental health issues which would prevent you from getting support otherwise. There are boundaries and limitations to a home visit, which will be discussed in our initial consultation. I am also trained to work on the telephone and Skype if you think this would be more beneficial to you.

How to get started

I offer a FREE 30-minute consultation so that we have a chance to find out whether we would work well together before you have made a financial commitment to counselling. This can be done either over the phone at an agreed time or in my counselling room.
