My style and who I work with
I have an empathetic style and a collaborative, non-judgemental approach to therapy.
I offer a safe space for you to talk about whatever it is you need to talk about all of which is based on a mutual trust and respect.
I offer one to one counselling for anyone over the age of 18 years.

My qualifications
I studied with the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy based in London and Bath and passed:
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Therapy (Distinction)
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Distinction)
I hold a Diploma Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

I am fully insured to practice and receive regular supervision.

am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society

I also hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Humanistic Counselling (2001).

Continuous Professional Development is very important and I attend regular training courses and workshops in areas of specific interest to me relating to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness and Compassion Focused Therapy. Courses I have attended in 2017 include:
16 & 17 June 2017 ACT (Acceptance and Commitment therapy) for Depression and Anxiety with Russ Harris
29 March 2017 A compassionate approach to the forms and functions of self-criticism with Professor Paul Gilbert
2 & 3 March 2017 Compassion Focused Therapy for Complex Presentations with Dr Kate Lucre
