I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist & EMDR Therapist, I have worked using a CBT model in the NHS and privately for five years and I have completed a Masters in CBT and achieved a Merit grade.
I have successfully worked with a large variety of people; CBT & EMDR are recommended treatments by NICE for anxiety and depressive difficulties, including depression, panic, worry, OCD, post traumatic stress disorder, low self esteem, health anxiety, social anxiety, eating disorders and sleep disorders, amongst others.
I have achieved various qualifications in other areas such as a Degree in Psychology, a PGCert in Psychological Therapies, levels 2 and 3 in Counselling Skills and other qualifications in working with young people and drug and alcohol use.
I am above all things friendly and open. I will be honest with you and we will begin by discussing if CBT or EMDR will be a helpful approach for you. If I don't feel CBT or EMDR will be helpful I will signpost you to a service that may be more suitable.
