About Jason Hanson Counselling

We all have bad days and can often understand the reason behind these. When these however, turn into bad weeks or even bad months and we are at a loss to understand why, it can be beneficial to talk to someone non-judgmental who can offer an impartial perspective on things.

I offer a relaxed and comfortable therapeutic setting where you can explore the things causing you emotional distress. I believe in addressing the root cause rather than merely treating the effect and this is a journey we will embark upon together, helping you to develop your own coping strategies along the way, meaning you can once again take control of your life and feel content.

With an MA in Psychoanalytic studies as well as a Diploma in Relationship Counselling I have experience working with both couples and individuals experiencing a range of issues including relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, stress and bereavement to name but a few. I have also facilitated mental health awareness training on a national level to front line staff and senior management and have co-written a book on relationships which was published in April 2015.

Jason Hanson Counselling has its own Facebook page where I blog regularly. Please feel free to like, share and of course get involved in discussion.
