About M S IMPACT
Counselling can seem a big step but with the right counsellor it should feel comfortable and you should feel able to be honest and say anything that is on your mind. Sometimes it is hard to talk to friends or family for fear of rejection or judgement. Counselling is that safe and confidential place where you can be yourself.
Is there something that you just keep doing and want to stop. Do you struggle with relationships or social gatherings. Perhaps you have a phobia or fear. Do you constantly feel stressed or anxious or even tired and low. Counselling can help in all areas of life.
I began my journey when my child was diagnosed with autism nearly 18 years ago. I suffered low esteem and confidence and was in a very anxious place. I have lost many relatives and some friends over the years who have sadly passed away. My marriage has had many ups and downs. After obtaining a psychology degree I decided that I wanted to help others. Not just parents of children with disabilities but anyone who was needing to make a change to the way they were feeling, thinking and acting in their everyday life. So began my training to be a counsellor.
Since then I have continued my professional development and continue to feel honoured to help others.
