Why not take the first step and give me a call? Our initial counselling appointment is always FREE and I would love to help you. I will offer you a really safe and confidential space to talk and, by listening, I will support you as you discover solutions to your problems. Some things don’t have a solution, such as the death of someone you love very much. In these cases, I can help you come to terms with things which cannot be altered so that you can see clear through the pain to the rest of your life.

Our initial telephone consultation will give us an opportunity to discuss your needs and if you do decide to carry on, we will arrange a regular time to meet up each week. Each session will be quality time for you to talk through your problems in a non-judgmental setting that will be uniquely tailored to you.

Training, Qualifications and Experience:

I have an MSc in Health Psychology, a BSc in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, with additional training certificates in Trauma and CBT.

I love my job as a Counsellor in the NHS and am passionate about the benefits of counselling. I worked for many years at the Samaritans and have experience of working with a wide range of issues, including affairs & betrayals, anxiety, bereavement, bullying, couple counselling, depression, divorce, family issues, infertility, miscarriage, pain, relationship difficulties, road traffic accidents, sexuality, shame/guilt, stress, trauma and work issues, including workplace trauma.

I am a Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), as well as the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA). I abide by their Code of Ethics.

My work is fully insured. I hold a current CRB certificate.
